* Tara Family Support Service *

Tara Family Support Service is a non-government, community-based programme  funded by the Department of Communities.

The Family Support Workers are Ann Graham and Mary Youngberry who are  based at the Tara Neighbourhood Centre and offer Tara and district a mobile service, including home visits.

The Family Support Service offers free and confidential support and information on a range of issues and problems:

* Relationship and family issues
* Parenting concerns and tips
* Housing and budgeting problems
* Communication and stress management
* Self-esteem
* Anger Management
* Any other concerns that impact on families in our community

The Family Support Service
provides:

* Support, assistance, advocacy, referral and information
* Crisis support
* Workshops and skills development programs
* Community awareness and education
* Home visits
* Help for families, individuals, young people and the community in general.

The Family Support Service
aims to support families in any way possible, including the provision of information, resources, training, practical assistance, and one-to-one support to eliminate family stresses and to maximize the well-being of children, their families and the community.
